BFFECT Skin Care Review

BFFECT Skin Care Review

I’ll be reviewing BFFECT skin care products that I’ve been testing my self for weeks now and I will share my experience and thoughts about this product.

Who or what is BFFECT?

BFFECT is a skincare brand and the name signifies Basic Yet Effective. Their goal is to provide healthy and flawless skin without overpaying for “miraculous ingredients”.

It is also a young skin care brand that has gone viral and always gets the attention of people looking to have a perfect skin especially in Asia.

The best thing I love about this company is it is Cruelty-Free, so they dont test their products on animals. It is also Non-irritant so it’s definitely suitable for sensitive skin.

They have different product categories:

  • Hydrators and oils
  • Oil control
  • Anti aging
  • Brightening
  • Eye Essence
  • Soothing

The products I have been testing are hydrators and oils, and Brightening. I already filmed an unboxing video which I will link down below.

Products I tested:

LUZ  30ml

A Daily Brightening Serum for Dark Spots Removal

  • $ 12.9

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + Na-PCA 1% 30ml

A Classic Moisturizer to Make Skin Smooth, Elastic, and Radiant

  • $ 10.90

My first impressions were the packaging was minimalistic and good. It was securely packaged for delivery. The bottle is glass and the dropper feels like glass as well.

The first time I used the product, I was excited to do the Instagram beauty guru dropper thing. I realized that a drop goes a long way.

I use the moisturizer in the morning and the Luz brightening serum for dark spots during the night. There is also a recommended usage written on the bottle or box but I prefer to use it that way.

When I started using the moisturizer in the morning, I saw a big difference on my skin. My skin is dry and flaky especially around the mouth area and forehead.

I have tried different moisturizers in the evening and morning and nothing soothes my skin. There was a point I got really desperate to find a good hydrator or moisturizer to solve this problem because even when I go to school or work, people tell me about my dry areas and patches on my skin.

Ever since I used this moisturizer from bffect, no one went up to me and tell me to hydrate my skin because it looks so smoothes and glowy. Even I was surprised because I was very close to give up on trying to find the perfect hydrator for my skin.

As for the Luz, the brightening one, I chose to get this one because I have dark spots on my face especially the forehead area because of my acne prone skin. I have been using products that are anti acne like salicylic acid and stuff but sometimes they cause more inflamation to my pimple and burn the skin that leaves more dark spots.

Luz has helped me brighten up my dark spots around my mouth area and also the forehead. Although I cannot prevent my pimples from appearing on my skin especially on that time of the month. Girls you know what im talking about. Luz has helped on the healing process. It never inflamed my pimples and the amazing thing I noticed, if I have a big pimple at night, when I use this before bed, in the morning it has gone smaller.

Now each person’s skin can react differently but BFFECT skincare is truly non irritant. I myself have sensitive skin but I never encountered a problem.

Now you might want to ask, these are oils, is it too oily when you apply it on the skin? I had that question too.

But the first time I used it, it never felt like it’s too oily. Once you applied it on your skin, it dries after 30 sec to a min which leaves your skin a hydrated feeling and not oily. I also put my makeup on top of it and my skin never went too oily or patchy as it used to before.

Even tho BFFECT sent me this product to test it out, when I ran out of it, I wont mind purchasing again using my own money because I see it really worthit because it’s affordable and definitely effective especially for my skin.

I definitely recommend this product and if you guys are interested, check out BFFECT’S website here: https://reurl.cc/aNV77

Clinique Happy Heart Women’s Perfume Review

Clinique Happy Heart Women’s Perfume Review

I’ve been using this perfume since I arrived here in Canada which was 2016. It’s been 2 years and I never got tired of using it. So I figured I will make a review about it for those who are interested in purchasing this perfume. I got this perfume from Clinique branch in The Bay Montreal Downtown for $86 before taxes and $98 after taxes.

PACKAGING:

I just recently got this 100 ml / 3.4 oz and it came in this gradient pink box. It is simple and I like it. It has a small poem at the back, caution note, ingredients and info about the product and company.

The actual product is in this pink see-through glass bottle. The cap is not magnetic like the Chanel perfume I have reviewed before. The cap is plastic but it doesn’t look like it because of the metallic look of it. The 50 ml version looks exactly the same but I recommend getting the 100 ml for everyday use.

SCENT:

Since this is a perfume, the scent is more concentrated compared to a cologne. It’s fragrance notes are mandarin orange, cassia, cucumber, primula, carrot, water hyacinth, sandalwood, and white woods. The very first time I used this perfume, I liked it right away. The scent is so refreshing and it’s a sweet fruity, floral scent. It’s like a scent that a fresh baby wears.

Another reason why I love it is it lasts long.  The scent lasts for 6-7 hours. I normally spray it 3 times to achieve that but when I like a more subtle natural fresh scent, I only spray it once. The scent fades in a nice way all throughout the day and it smells very natural.
